03.11.15 : eClarity Wireless Frequency and CE and RoHS approval
There has been a lot of talk recently regarding EU regulations, CE and RoHS, and the possible misuse of them. When purchasing any product in the EU all equipment should be both CE and RoHS approved and marked, with appropriate certificates to ensure it meets with the Health and Safety compliance regulations of the EU.
As a responsible supplier eClarity, of course, complies with these requirements under certificate numbers : RoHS 13-05-QAC-043 & CE 1508200601 & 13-02-RBF-007-04.
Wireless products in the UK need to meet guidelines as to the wireless frequency they operate at to ensure they do not interfere with any other users of the spectrum. Soundfields take this very seriously therefore eClarity operates in the 863-865Mhz range which is the legal unlicensed band for use in the UK. We can also provide alternative frequencies for other countries or if the user has a licence for these frequencies.
